As part of a project to put my photographs from the past online I have just finished scanning photographs from the Peoples March for Jobs 1981. 30 years ago unemployed from the North West & Yorkshire marched to London. Young and not so young, punk and skinhead they marched and ate together and shared the same floors in church, school and sports halls for their rest. I was on the Yorkshire leg starting in Huddersfield and originally recorded the march for display in Sheffield.
